Compliance Officer
On-site Hybrid – Downtown Austin, TX (4–5 days/week)

What you get to do:

  • Support the implementation and evolution of a dynamic compliance program for a fast-scaling investment firm

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with investment, portfolio management, and operations teams

  • Draft, update, and test internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations

  • Lead and conduct compliance risk assessments, testing, monitoring, and training initiatives

  • Review and approve marketing materials and respond to third-party and regulatory inquiries

  • Serve as a key contributor in responses to due diligence questionnaires and ad hoc compliance projects

  • Communicate effectively across senior leadership, legal, and compliance stakeholders

What you need to succeed:

  • 5+ years of relevant compliance or audit experience within investment management or alternative assets (real estate background preferred)

  • Proven ability to author and execute policies, testing, and compliance protocols independently

  • Broad technical and operational understanding of finance, investment regulations, and enterprise risk

  • Experience with SEC-registered investment advisers is a plus

  • Self-starter who thrives in high-accountability roles and can juggle multiple projects without micromanagement

  • MBA or professional certification preferred

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong analytical and investigative skills
