FS (Java, Python, Spring, SQL)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a FS (Java, Python, Spring, SQL) in Westlake, TX.

Duties:
* Provide Level 1 and Level 2 Application support for production environments
* Investigate and resolve system generated alerts
* Investigate and resolve user raised incidents and service requests
* Coordinate with different teams for incident resolution
* Escalate issues to Engineering team if issues are beyond scope
* Should be able to provide tactical solution to make sure business continuity
* Participating in the Defined Benefit team's effort to improve the efficiency and quality of the entire production support process

REQUIREMENTS:
* BS or above in Computer Science or related field
* 5+ years of experience in supporting applications using Java, JEE development using Spring/Spring Boot framework and ORM frameworks like MyBatis, Hibernate, etc.
* 2+ years of experience on supporting web applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular 8+
* 2+ years of experience in database tools and development using PL/SQL/T-SQL
* Experience in tools and methods to enable efficiency, performance and agility through automating DevOps processes (GitHub, Maven, Jenkins)
* Good understanding of RESTful API, API documentation (Swagger)
* Working knowledge of testing automation frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, PowerMock, Karma, Jasmine, Protractor, etc.
* Experience in Python is a plus
* Experience in supporting applications built on Visual C++ is a plus
* Defined Benefits domain knowledge and Agile experience is a plus
* Good understanding of containerization with Docker, Kubernetes using Helm, ConfigMaps and YAML is a plus
* Knowledge of public/private cloud capabilities including compute, storage, database is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
