Job Title: Junior AI/ML Engineer

Location: Austin, TX/ Dallas,, TX/ Lone Tree, CO/ Raliegh, NC (3x per Week Hybrid)

Contract: 12+ Months (Contract To Hire/ Extend)

Summary:

• We are seeking a AI/ML Developer to help develop and enhance a conversational platform using AI technologies. In this role, you will focus on building intelligent conversational systems that leverage the latest advancements in AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Machine Learning (ML). The role includes developing AI-driven applications that enable seamless and interactive user experiences, primarily in the conversational AI domain. While the primary focus will be on building and optimizing conversational AI applications, opportunities to fine-tune and improve Gen AI models may arise.

• The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in software development or data analysis, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in Gen AI and ML technologies. Strong Python skills, experience with web services, and familiarity with data preprocessing, embeddings, and search techniques are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance a conversational platform using Generative AI and NLP technologies to create intelligent, user-friendly, and context-aware conversational systems.
• Design and implement Gen AI-driven solutions to enable seamless and dynamic conversational experiences for users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative conversational features that improve user engagement and satisfaction.
• Optimize the conversational AI platform through continuous learning and adaptation, ensuring it meets business and user needs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Gen AI and NLP technologies, applying new techniques to improve the platform.

What you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software development or data analysis.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in Gen AI, NLP, and ML development.
• Strong Python skills, with experience in data preprocessing, embeddings, and indexing.
• Familiarity with Python libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras for machine learning and deep learning.
• Experience developing web services to support AI-driven applications.
• Understanding of AI-based search techniques and conversational AI frameworks.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new Gen AI advancements and integrate them into conversational systems.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience in public cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure).
• Familiarity with transformer models and large language models (LLMs) for conversational AI.
• Knowledge of chatbot deployment in production environments.
• Experience in fine-tuning Gen AI models for conversational systems.
