RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking a JavaScript Developer with AEM experience.
Responsibilities:
* The JavaScript Developer will work closely with business analysts to understand their requirements, design solutions, and determine future strategies for architecture and application development
* Collaborate with team members and to translate requirements into technical designs that map to enterprise-level architecture components
* Leverage a deep understanding of Adobe Experience Manager WCM to develop components ready to support sites with enterprise-level availability and high traffic
* Diagnose and solve technical problems related to the CMS implementation
* Work with members of different teams diagnosing, debugging, and upgrading complex systems, and participating in researching build, deployment, and operational issues
* Collaborate with other technical teams on responsibilities for application deployment, performance, monitoring, reliability, and scalability
* Work with technology, product, and business partners to design and develop reusable templates, components, and services
* The JavaScript Developer will work within strict timelines to solve and deliver critical issues
* Work with teams on different time zones to support high traffic sites
* Web UI development
* Collaborate with design, business analyst, project management, and content production teams
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-7 years of front end experience
* 2-3 years of AEM 6.5 experience
* Proficient in Full Stack Development as well as multiple design techniques
* Working proficiency in Full Stack toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
* Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks
* Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security
* Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages
* Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of software
* Proven experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development and implementation
* Experience with AEM architecture, components, templates, and workflows
* Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
* Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
Knowledge of accessibility (e.g. WCAG 2.2) best practices
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
