Principal Application Support (PST)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Principal Application Support (PST) in Westlake, TX.

Summary:
The Principal Application Support Engineer/Full-stack Developer will be responsible for On Call Production Support of Brokerage applications on the cloud. You will be encouraged to quickly gain understanding of all the components of applications and will work with the team to deliver solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred
* MSCE or A+ certification is required, with MSCE preferred
* AWS certifications preferred (AWS SysOps, DevOps)
* Extensive experience in Brokerage application development and support with strong proven understanding of languages like Java/Spring MVC, Node JS, GO
* Experience in microservices architecture and development for cloud
* Extensive experience in performance tuning, monitoring, solving application issues in a EKS infrastructure
* Extensive experience with setting up Application alerting and monitoring in a cloud environment
* Experience handling On-call production support and debugging application issues
* Flexibility and adaptability to learn and support new technologies on the cloud
* Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
* Ability to effectively multi-task and manage your time, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
* Brokerage back-office systems knowledge would be a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
