Requirements:

To qualify for the PPW (Bindery), KX - 4402 - 4 , you must meet the following requirements:

(SCREEN OUT/JOB ELEMENT #1): Ability to do the work of a Printing Plant Worker (Bindery), KX-4402-4, without more than normal supervision, to be considered for this position. Applicants must have experience and/or training of sufficient scope and quality to independently perform the duties typically required of a PPW (Bindery), KX-4402-4. These duties require: 1)possessing knowledge and technical skills to follow instructions, which include maintaining accurate records; 2) reading and writing simple arithmetic calculations; 3) working on machines to do simple adjustments using switches and knobs; and 4) possessing the skill in operating hand-operated power trucks.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
