This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic and Industrial Base to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.About the Position: Serve as Chief Ammunition Program Manager of the Munitions Storage Maintenance Branch (MSMB) responsible for variety of complex and unique operations involving Class V and non-standard materials.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:
- Perform strategic and long-range planning on phases of ammunition supply operations;
- Resolve quality control issues regarding the transportation, storage, and environmental requirements of munitions;
- Develop supply guidance and regulations for a diverse munition supply program operation; and
- Distribute/shift work to meet critical mission deadlines
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
