About the Position: This position is located in San Antonio, Texas with the Defense Health Agency Network Central team. The position serves as a Medical Records Administrative Specialist Coding Auditor for the Network servicing area, performing in-depth audits and develops detailed training programs related to medical coding and documentation.This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) auditing medical codes to identify deficiencies: 2) researching regulations to identify impact to coding processes, and 3) identifying codes to record medical scenarios. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
