This positions involves the administration of clerical work related to processing of incoming or outgoing mail and/or the systematic arrangement of records for storage or reference purposes, and the performance of related work that require the application of established mail or file methods and procedures, knowledge of prescribed systems for governing the flow and control of communications, and the filing and retrieval of records.Requirements:
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 02/13/2026.You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below:
- General Experience: You must have one year of general experience. Examples of general experience would typically include, but are not limited to: knowledge of U.S. Postal Service regulations and mail handling regulations; knowledge of administrative and professional subject matters in order to classify material, prepare file contents and route materials quickly and efficiently; AND knowledge of basic computer and typing skills to operate the agency's computer program applications for patient location computer based postal equipment, mailing reports and workload reports. OR,
- Education: Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have 2 years above high school. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED). OR,
- Combination: Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have an combination of specialized experience and education beyond 2 years above high school. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED).

Note : A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities.
