About the Position: This is a Program Manager, GS-0340-15 Leadership Position for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Southwestern Division, Fort Worth District and located in Fort Worth, TX.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes at least 3 of the 4 following duties: 1) Negotiating resolutions to complex civil works, military or environmental projects that keep projects moving forward; OR 2) Developing civil works, military or environmental programs within funding, manpower or other resources; OR 3) Ensuring policies conform to existing precedents and practices issued by higher authority within the military or civil works programs; OR 4) Compiling necessary data or information needed to support the environment in lock and dam construction, dam safety, environmental restoration, or river stabilization projects etc.( NOTE: This experience MUST be well documented on your resume or application package.) This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
