This position is located at Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, TX.The Duty Station for this position is located at Fort Sam Houston, TX.You will be expected to physically reside within commuting distance of Fort Sam Houston, TX if selected.

Experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities at a level to perform successfully in the position, to include:
Experience coordinating employee benefits plans between third-party administrators, payroll interfaces, human resources offices, and customers.
Experience interpreting plan documents and recommending changes to benefits policy with higher-level entities. Demonstrated subject matter expertise in management of the assigned program(s); i.e., medical/dental, flexible spending/savings accounts, life insurance, long-term care, retirement programs (defined benefit/defined contribution); to include claims examining, adjudication, automation, and payroll accountability.
Experience developing and delivering benefits presentations and employee benefits workshops. Experience providing demonstrated leadership and a full range of supervisory functions to an assigned staff.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
At least 5+ years experience at the next lower level with NAF Employee Benefits is preferred
