This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.About the Position:
You will serve as the Fort Bliss Air Traffic and Airspace (AT&A) Officer providing technical interpretation of rules and regulatory requirements for operations with the National Airspace System (NAS) and managing all air traffic and airspace assets.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience directing and conducting airspace- management functions; ensuring integration and synchronization of multiple airspace users; ensures the safe synchronized use of airspace- integrating aircraft, UAS, fires and friendly units while overseeing ATC operations and advising units on all airspace issues.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
