Description:
This position is located within Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation at Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA). As an Outdoor Recreation Assistant, you'll help guests enjoy camping, boating, hiking, and more. Duties include checking out kayaks and paddleboards, setting up areas, assisting with rentals, maintaining trails and campsites, and supporting events to ensure a safe, welcoming experience.Incentives and Bonuses

Must have knowledge of and experience in a wide variety of Outdoor Recreation pursuits. Applicants pursuing a degree in Recreation Management, Outdoor Recreation, or a related field, and in the process of completing an internship or fieldwork program will be considered highly qualified.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
1. Must have experience with Mountain Biking, Water Sports, Climbing Wall, Challenge Obstacle Courses.
