About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Arts & Crafts/Auto Hobby Center on JBER, AK.

Regular Part-Time employees have a regular and continuous work schedule of at least 20 hours to a maximum of 34 hours per week. You are eligible for the following benefits and compensation: Health and Life Insurance, Awards, Leave, Retirement, 401K, Overtime Pay, Workers' Compensation, Shift Differential, Sunday Premium Pay, Holiday Pay.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience which demonstrates knowledge of a wide variety of automotive tools; good workshop practices to include setting up and maintaining a neat, well organized and secure storage area; inventory procedures and records maintenance. In addition, must have experience working with patrons providing quality customer service. Must be able to follow written and/or oral instruction, make simple mathematical computations and be able to follow cash handling procedures. Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally handle objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
