Child and Youth Program Assistant CY-01/02

These positions are located at various CYS facilities at Fort Greely, Alaska . Applicants will be referred to selecting officials as vacancies occur.

Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee :

• Available to MWR CYS Regular and FLEX (working a minimum of 15 hours)
• First Child : 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees)
• Second and Subsequent Child : % childcare fee discount (all CYS employees)}

Requirements:

NOW OFFERING SPECIAL HIRING INCENTIVES FOR THIS POSITION! Eligible Flex-10, Regular Part-Time and Regular-Full Time selectees may receive $2000.00! ($1000 at 6-month completion of successful service, plus another $1000.00 at 1-year anniversary of successful service. Service agreement and satisfactory performance required). In addition, employees may also be eligible for:
-As an added employee incentive, the Department of Defense (DoD) granted approval to extend temporary limited commissary privileges (excluding the purchase of tobacco or alcohol products) to CYS employees.
- CYS Regular and FLEX employees (working a minimum of 15 hours) will receive a 100% discount on childcare for their first child and at least 25% for each additional child. -Access to DFMWR Facilities such as fitness programs, bowling center, outdoor recreation, etc.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

For Entry Level (CY-01):

1. At a minimum, must have a high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
2. Must be able to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
