This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Monitor, maintain, and control the operation of wastewater treatment processes and related equipment; 2) Interpret specifications and shop manuals to diagnose and repair water treatment plant equipment; 3) Run routine operational wastewater tests to verify compliance with state and federal regulations; 4) Maintain all necessary records of operation and maintenance data.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Must have a current and valid State of Texas Class "B" Wastewater Treatment Facility License and a Class "D" Public Water System Operator License. Certifications must be documented in your resume and attached to your application package.
