Description:
You will serve as an ENGINEER OR SCIENTIST in the PLATFORM INTEGRITY DEPT (C/60), MATERIALS & MANUFACTURNG TECH DIV (C/61), NON METALLIC MATL'S R&E BRANCH (C/617) of CARDEROCK DIV NS.This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.
Requirements:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalency) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer or scientist overseeing the research and development of materials processing technologies to support naval surface ship or undersea systems.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
