Description:

You will serve as an ENGINEER OR SCIENTIST in the PLATFORM INTEGRITY DEPT (C/60), MATERIALS & MANUFACTURNG TECH DIV (C/61), NON METALLIC MATL'S R&E BRANCH (C/617) of CARDEROCK DIV NS.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.

Requirements:

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalency) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer or scientist overseeing the research and development of materials processing technologies to support naval surface ship or undersea systems.
