Description:
This position is located at the Reserve Fleets, Office of Ship Operations, Office of the Deputy Associate Administrator for Federal Sealift, Office of the Associate Administrator for Strategic Sealift, Maritime Administration (MARAD).
Requirements:
Qualifications for the position are based on the training, experience, or other requirements that determine which applicants would be able to perform satisfactorily in the position to be filled.
To qualify for the WL-11, your experience should include experience equal or equivalent to the following:
- Ability to complete repairs on electrical systems and equipment containing diodes, transistors, and electronic devices in the circuitry.
- Ability to isolate, repair, or replace faulty components such as hydraulic/pneumatic pressure regulators and hydraulic volume controls on equipment.
- Ability to communicate with workers being led, pass on instructions, relay job assignments for recurring and special tasks, and train employees as needed.
