Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications- Specialized experience at a level that equipped the applicant with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities required for successful performance.
- Experience in planning and delivery of outdoor recreation programs to a large, diverse community.
- Experience in developing or assisting with program budget, providing recreation facility/ equipment maintenance, and instructing program participants in the techniques of various recreation activities.
- Leadership experience gained through supervising or mentoring lower-level staff.
Best Qualified
- 3 Years specialized experience supervising an Outdoor Recreation program or similar operations AND
- 1 Year specialized experience in the field of Hospitality/customer service management AND
- 1 Year specialized experience developing and executing APF and NAF budgets for a Garrison, or similar experience in the private sector.
Highly Preferred
- Bachelors degree in Recreation Management or comparable field.
