About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Marketing Department.
This position is considered Regular Part Time (RPT). You are guaranteed 20 hours but has the potential to work up to 40 hours/week. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience in the use of social media and networking platforms and tools including but not limited to Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.
Must possess broad understanding of web-based trends and technologies, including demonstrated experience with e-mail marketing and social media. Must have experience in updating and maintaining web pages and social media programs.
Requires work experience in graphic/art design and/or digital design to include both digital and print mediums.
Ability to use computers to perform design, research, composition and create promotional materials.
Must have experience in arranging and composing materials from conception, design stage and into final format.
Must be able to work independently and at times of high stress. Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing.
Must have experience working specialized PC software programs: Adobe Creative Suites (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.).
Must be organized and creative with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks while maintaining several of the programs listed and have the ability to accomplish multiple tasks while maintaining deadlines on a timely manner.
Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds and be able to stand for long periods of time at both indoor and outdoor functions.
Must be able to work some nights and weekends if necessary.
Must be able to successfully obtain a Tier One background investigation.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
This is a drug testing designated position. This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
Incumbent is required to drive a government motor vehicle in the performance of his/her duties.
Must be able to provide a copy of current driving record.
