About the position:
This position will be assigned to the NAF Human Resources Office on Whiteman AFB, MO.
This position is Regular Part-Time. You are guaranteed 20 hours, but could work up to 40 hours per week. Regular Part-Time employees are eligible to earn annual and sick leave and sign up for Health/Dental and Life Insurance, 401(k) and NAF Retirement.
Employee will be eligible for the use of the fitness center golf course, bowling center, club, swimming pools and other activities.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
- Experience interpreting and applying NAF HR rules, regulations, and procedures in accomplishment of clerical/administrative work; utilizing recruitment tools in hiring personnel (i.e., generating job postings, job fairs, or equivalent); advising on routine recruitment strategies; troubleshooting and resolving personnel system and software issues.
- Experience in processing a variety of personnel actions.
- Experience in utilizing office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel).
