You will serve as an Electronics Technician (Air Traffic Control Systems) of NAS JRB FT WORTH.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:: 1) Reviewing technical airfield electronic work for compliance with regulations; 2) Troubleshooting and repairing airfield electronic equipment, air traffic control systems, radars, instrument approach systems, navigational aids, and communications systems to solve complex technical problems or improve system performance; 3) Evaluating equipment design to improve or enhance circuit and system operation; 4) Using applicable test equipment, test methods and practices as related to the Air Traffic Control equipment and systems, including safety precautions; 5) Performing site certification of ATC and Airfield Landing systems; and 6) Applying knowledge of Naval Air Traffic Control, air navigation aids and landing systems. **NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
