This position is located with the Financial Management Office on Fort Wainwright, AK.Up to 25% relocation, recruitment and/or retention incentive may be authorized.
Eligible for 1.49% COLA.

Requirements:
1. Knowledge of basic principles and practices of budget formulations in order to prepare written funding justifications, consolidate budget requests, request additional funds, and monitor expenditures against obligations for specified programs.2. Skill in balancing funds between accounts; i.e., transferring funds between line items or sub-projects or identifying excess funds for possible transfer to other operating programs.
Highly Desired: Candidates who possess the highly desired criteria and meet the minimum qualifications above will be referred to the hiring manager first. Criteria is verified within the application package.
1. Possess knowledge and understanding of the substantive nature of the Army's Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) and community and family support operating programs and their interrelationships and funding channels.
2. Possess a Bachelor's Degree in a financial management related field (transcripts must be submitted at the time of application).
3. Possess knowledge or experience in NAF/APF financial programs.
4. Possess a CPA certification (copy of certification must be submitted at the time of application).
