About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Moose Run Golf Course on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK and Hillberg Ski Area.

This position is Full-Time, meaning you are guaranteed a minimum of 35 hours per week to a maximum of 40 hours per week.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
Requires basic knowledge and skill in the use of tools of the trade. Must be able to lift, bend, and work in awkward positions both indoors and outdoors. Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier with assistance. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Preferred to have the ability to operate, control, and maintain snowmaking equipment and heavy powered machinery. Knowledge and experience in the ski industry is desired but not required. Preferred to have the ability to assist in determining the need for repair and servicing of snowmaking equipment. Preferred to have experience which demonstrates knowledge of: large, complex riding mowers and similar types of specialized mowing equipment; skill in operating various controls and levers to maneuver mowing equipment and lift, lower, adjust, engage, and disengage components or attached devices.

Must possess a valid State Driver's license. Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Background Investigation (Tier 1 level).
