This position is located at the 136 AW, located in Fort Worth, TX. The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for all base electronic security systems by performing electronic security systems duties and managing all functions necessary to sustain electronic security protection in all areas of the installation.
Texas is one of 9 states with NO state income tax.

To qualify at the GS-09 grade level your resume must include relevant experience with beginning and ending dates of employment experience reflecting 24 months experience, education, or training in planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling installation and law enforcement activities. AND Experience providing training in areas related to this position and analyzing reports of investigations and maintaining security records. AND Knowledge of DoD and AF security regulations, instructions, practices, principles, and procedures including force protection, integrated base defense, anti-terrorism, and physical security. Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of program related issues and problems. Knowledge of safety, security, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures. Knowledge of police dispatch and alarm monitor functions. Knowledge of AF Electronic Security Sensor systems. Knowledge of the AF Incident Management System and the Security Force Management Information System. Ability to plan, organize, function in performance of primary duties. Ability to communicate effectively and clearly both verbally and in writing. Knowledge and understanding of Air Force (AF), National Guard, and gaining command organizational structure, missions and responsibilities. Knowledge of SF procedures and operating methods to perform the full range of SF activities independently to include protection level resources, installation entry control, armed response, and dispatch.

A master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.

A combination of successfully completed post-high school education and experience that may be used to meet total qualification requirements.
