Requirements:
Specialized Experience is experience which is directly related to the position to be filled and which has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position.GS-09 - At least 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade, GS-07. Examples of Specialized Experience include: Serves as an advisor to commanders on assigned unit human resources (HR) program. Interprets policy and provides procedural guidance to commanders, supervisors, staff members and individual military members. Conducts periodic briefings for staff, commanders, and administrative personnel to promote full understanding of all aspects of the assigned program. Provides commanders, supervisors, and MILPO staff with a variety of statistical data or reports pertaining to military HR issues to assist in HR management decisions. Determines the methods and procedures for conducting military career guidance and counseling to ensure officer or enlisted personnel have an optimal and established career pattern. Responsible for and ensures the timely and accurate processing of submitted military personnel actions. Responsible for and oversees the direction of the Personnel Services Section and functions as the technical expert. Oversees the performance of document handling, records maintenance, and the personnel electronic records management system (PERMS).

Education - Possess a Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.

Combining Experience and Education - A combination of Experience and Education as described above. Only graduate education in excess of that required for a Master's degree or equivalent may be used when combining education and experience to meet the total qualification requirements.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Resume must have complete dates and hours worked per week for each occurrence of both civilian and military employment (Example: 2 JAN 1980 to 3 MAR 1981; 0800-1630 M-F or JAN 1980 to MAR 1981; 40 hrs/wk) Use of year only will result in disqualification. Length of time is not of itself qualifying. Your experience will be evaluated on the basis of duties performed. Your record of experience and/or training must show possession of the following knowledge, skills and abilities needed to fully perform the duties of the position:
-Knowledge of, and skill in applying, fundamental military human resource management principles and practices; and standardized analytical and evaluative methods and techniques in order to provide technical expertise and guidance as well as management advisory services to resolve factual and procedural issues within the particular area of assignment.
-In-depth knowledge of applicable regulations relating to the field of military human resources management and the area of assignment.
-Knowledge of the organizational structure and requirements of the ARNG for that state suitable to provide advice to commanders, unit administrators, and military members concerning the area of program specialty.
-Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, with individuals, supervisors, and management.
